Kolkata, India (September 24, 2025) — NTPC has awarded a contract to Thermax Limited for comprehensive technical study is to analyze and address persistent operational issues at NTPC BARH Stage – I (3 × 660MW). SMARTLùth to access the following conditions and give appropriate solution.

  • Study of operational constraints at different loads and during ramp-up and ramp-downs.
  • Comprehensive assessment/ analysis of Boiler Tube Failures.
  • Comprehensive assessment for burner and Pulverizer operation.
  • Preparation of flow models using computational fluid dynamics.
  • Study of Unit reliability at low load operation.
